  1. You guys look like you had a lot of fun! The family photo is hilarious–it does a good job making fun of the picture-perfect family portraits by playing with the costumes you all wore. The first shot may be a bit too high key, but the effect with the "floating head" works. I also really like the first and last shots of Alex under the stair case–the first has great lines and the last one's lighting is extremely effective to create a creepy, also horror-like feel.

  2. i really like the family photo...
the staircase photos have interesting lighting and have interesting compositions, but i think the ISO needs to be lowered, they are quite grainy when enlarged.
and i know the first one is supposed to be high key, and it is, but it is just a little too blown out for my taste, and i think that's saying something because usually i enjoy blown out/higher key images, but i think the exposure could definitely be played with.

i like the direction of the low key shots and think you guys could definitely take that idea further, there is certainly a distinct mood that is created that i would love to see pushed in a larger series...

    good work

  3. I like the low key photos. I agree with Kirslyn that they are quite grainy and you guys could have increased ISO and adjust other setting to create the same effect. I like how shadow and light is created in those series of photos and creating creepy and funny atmosphere. I really like the Christoffer one, and I think the funnyness is coming from the facial expression and also the warm temperature of the photos.

  4. The variation of your photos is nice. I like the dramatic contrast between the high key and low key. I also am a fan of your 'family portrait' photos! good job and bravo for putting on those ridiculous masks
