Colors, colors

Alex gave me the assignment to include more colors in my pictures. Here's what I found.

  1. I really like the first image of the lock, the rusted look is nice and I like all of the details. I also like the 4th--the negative space creates an interesting shape and the lines of the sculpture create a nice, simple composition.

  2. The colors in your first and second photos are beautiful, which is really nice contrast to the decrepit nature of the images. The colors are so vibrant and I think you did a really good job with the assignment, so I want to see you experimenting with other color palettes, too!

  3. I really really like your use of color! I think your images are so successful because clear focus on the image. The rust picture is amazing! I also really like that all of your images have some variation of red/orange tones. Was this intentional?

  4. I really like the rust color in the first and the way that it is emphasized by your depth of field. --Brian

  5. I like how crisp and sharp your first four photos are. You took ordinary images and made then unique using different angles. I like that you deceive the viewer in your third and fourth images. It makes me think: What is that object? What is special about it? What drew you to take those photos?
