My assignment from Lena was to work on composition and looking at depth of field with a human model and face close ups. In the second one I tried to focus in on the hair in the middle of the shot. --Brian
I really like the last one because the lighting makes it look as if her face is blending into the white background, which really makes her hair stand out. It would have been neat to see other photos of her features done this way as well. ~Emily
I think these pictures are really nice, although you could probably pick a better model. After the last project, you learned how to do something with "perfect" exposure, and now you are going beyond that in the 3rd image. It makes it seem kind of lifeless. I know I already talked to you about this, and that you agree, but I really wish that the hair was in focus in the second image.
i love the composition of the first image, and the exposure is really nice as well. i'm not quite sure whats in focus in the second image, but i like that it is close up. kirslyn
