I think you used the depth of fields very effectively in all of your pictures. I really like the last piece. It's blur in good way, so we can still figure out what is in picture, but creating more interesting atmosphere.
I really like your depth of field demonstration of the whole hallway versus the individual books. I think it is an effective demonstration of the difference.
I agree that the sharpness of the two first images is a great contrast to the blur of the last. I think the books you chose to frame in the second was a particularly good choice as it shows they are lined up really nicely and the text of the book title is extremely clear because of this.
It is really a nice example! I love the idea of playing in the stacks in the library! The last one reminds me of some sci-fi. cool!
