  1. I really like how you have a lot of tonal variation in these photos- you have dark blacks, bright whites and a lot of greys in between.

  2. I like that you have a sensitive feeling of the existence of lights and you experimented with that well in your photos. Critique would be that there is too much going on in the second and third photo.

  3. i really like the tonal values in the third image, and it does not bother me that there is no central focus, as it is mainly just a wide angle establishing shot. i like it.

  4. I love that your photographs tell a story, and the observer can feel the emotions of the people. I think the first photo is a great example of a 50s housewife getting ready for her day.

  5. Great comment about 50's housewife! True enough -
The images are documentary/evocative. Light and shadow that you have used are interesting. People placed in corners and activation points of the frame make us move through the images. SAW

  7. I said a similar thing on Kirslyn's night shots, but what I love about your third image is that is makes something we see everyday look really interesting. I think it being black and white makes the shadows and simplicity (but artisic-ness) of this stand out even more so.

Also, great job not getting a reflection of yourself taking the picture on "Taylor!" The point of view on this one is great because it captures an angle that is pointing to the back of the girl, but on the side we see her emotion in the mirror's reflection.
