I really like the bathrobe as line with the horizontal lines of the wrists and the vertical lines on the sleeves. It really carries my eye around the picture-Brian
I like how you have the flower in black and white and mostly gray-toned because it is different than what you'd typically see for flower photos. It also makes you focus more on the texture and shadows of the flower instead of the color composition.
I really like the first photo. The color contrast of snow and the clothes the kid is wearing is so strong and beautiful. I also like the the clothes the kid wearing. It's really colorful and cute. The facial expression of the kid is also nice too. He's (or she?) cute but a little bit creepy (I mean the expression on the face) at the same time and creepy kid is always photogenic!!(At least I think so.)
I love how close you took the last three photos. You put an interesting spin on a bathrobe and a purse. I would not have thought of photographing those two things, and it shows how we can find inspiration everywhere. ~Lena
I agree with introphoto's comment about your first image of the child. The contrast of color and your composition makes this piece really strong visually. Who is this child? He is really adorable.

Great examples of composition. Beautiful textures and patterns evoked with the light. SAW
ReplyDeleteThe lighting and texture in the shot of the leather bag works nicely. Great contrast between the shiny brown leather and the pitch black background.
