Here's a picture I took at night with the aperture at 5.6 f-stops, the shutter at 1/1.3 and
ISO at 800. I know it's very grainy but I think it gives it a horror-like quality, which I like.- Christoffer.

Christy's depth of field--running shot
This picture is honestly out of luck. I don't have the info about the photo because it was taken off of my small camera this fall. I'll post more later once I practice taking some over the weekend, but this was the shot I thought of instantly when were assigned to work on depth of field because of the way my brother (the second from the left in the red) is in focus and everyone else is not.

some night shots
the first 2 i was just experimenting using my external flash directly pointed at the lights...i like how the lights' brightness is enhanced on the edges and takes on this glow-y type feeling that i will probably use in another project, i really like it.
the last 3 i was just using my external flash to capture the lighting and curves/lines. (finally got some bokeh in the FOURTH* :) ) thanks for catching that mariel.
kirslyn.
Mariel's first day pictures
This is a frozen root of some variety. A ROOTSICLE!
These looked like a group of women gossiping or whatever groups of women do.
The bark had ridiculous texture which I tried to capture.
I tried to focus on texture mostly, but I also tried to incorporate composition and all of the other fun elements of photography that we discussed in class. (These were taken Wednesday at the "cypress swamp" in Dawe's Arboretum if anyone cares/is interested!)
